Mr. Ashish Garg

Mr. Ashish Garg, fellow chartered accountant, heads the Lower Solu Hydro Electric Project. With an installed capacity of 82 Megawatts, the lower Solu Project is the biggest hydropower project being developed by the domestic private sector of Nepal with international debt funding from European Development Banks. The project is currently under construction and has paved the way for renewed interest of foreign investors in hydropower development in Nepal. Mr. Garg is also developing Nepal’s first grid connected solar power projects. He is the executive committee member at Independent Power Producers Association.
