Dr. Upendra Mahato

Dr. Upendra Mahato is the Founding President of the International Coordination Council of Non-Resident Nepali Association with chapters in 75 countries in the world. He is the President of Russia-Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Honorary Consul General of Nepal to the Republic of Belarus. His business interests are diverse: organic and Ayurvedic fast-moving-consumer-products (in collaboration with famous Patanjali brand of India) telecommunication, hydropower, health care, education, media, banking and so on. He holds PhD (1991) and DSc (1996) degrees in soil mechanics from International Academy of Information Technology, Minsk, Belarus. He is a well-known philanthropist and international entrepreneur with business ventures in many European and Asian countries.
