Mr. Krishna Bahadur Manandhar

Mr. Krishna Bahadur Manandhar served as the acting Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, who joined the central bank in 1975, and spent almost 4 decades there. He spent most of his time at the central bank in the Foreign Exchange Department as Assistant Controller, Controller, Deputy Chief Controller and Executive Director. In 2005, he was appointed Deputy Governor of the NRB, a position he held until 2010. He has also served on the Board of various public and private institutions. Mr. Manandhar has an M.A. in Economics from Tribhuvan University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Economics from University of Manchester.
