
Mr. Arnab Bandyopadhyay
Mr. Arnab Bandyopadhyay works as the Lead Transport Specialist with the Transport and ICT Global Practice in the World Bank and is based in New Delhi office. His expertise includes project development, management, and implementation of World Bank infrastructure-related policies and projects. Mr. Bandyopadhyay has worked with consulting firms in a wide-ranging highway design and construction projects in South Asia, East Asia and East Africa before joining the Bank in 2001. Mr. Bandyopadhyay has authored several publications on a wide spectrum of transportation-related areas including road safety, the construction industry, capacity building, institutional benchmarking, and port sector efficiency. He is nationally recognized in India as a thought leader on transportation planning, engineering and safety. Mr. Bandyopadhyay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Calcutta, India and a Master’s in Construction Management from the Indian Institute of Technology.
