Mr. Neeraj Rathi

Mr. Neeraj Rathi is the Managing Director at Rakura Group of tea companies, Nepal’s oldest tea exporter and leading producer, consolidator, blender and packager of finer quality Himalayan teas. An MBA holder with specialization in Marketing from the Graduate School of Management at Latrobe University, Melbourne, he served as the Head of Strategy at Clean Energy Development Bank until late 2011. Upon his arrival into the tea sector, he established Rakura brand of teas in December 2012 to revolutionize the Nepalese tea industry and create new, out-of-the-box consumer experiences for Himalayan tea. He is currently working to creating a long-term sustainability model from the grass roots that looks to alleviate poverty in Nepal’s tea growing communities while viably developing and promoting Himalayan tea around the world, one cup at a time.
