Mr. Prachanda Man Shrestha

Mr. Prachanda Man Shrestha served as the Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, he was the Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, heading the WTO division. He has held various positions, including the Chairman of the National Trading Limited, Director General of Department of Tourism, National Project Director for Quality Tourism Project and the Board of Directors of Pacific Asia Travel Association. Mr. Shrestha has been recognized with different awards such as “Prabal Gorkha Dakshin Bahu”, “Prakhyat Trishakti Patta” by the Government of Nepal. Mr. Shrestha graduated with a Masters degree in Commerce from Tribhuvan University. He completed the Humphrey Fellowship in International Development and Tourism from the American University and the George Washington University in 1994.
